Body Butters & Oils Cosmetic Safety Assessment Report (Compliant with new EC Regulations)
We can now offer packages of cosmetic safety reports which comply with the new 2013 EC regulations.
These reports have been created specifically for small-scale producers of products for full body use such as masssage oils and body butters.
With this report, you can certify one single base recipe which can contain up to 10 ingredients - and you can have up to 6 variations of your base recipe (different flavours/colours etc.), which can include up to 5 extra ingredients each.
PLEASE NOTE: This price includes one type of exposure area only, i.e. Body, Face, hand OR foot. If you would like to assess some body AND face, hand & foot products, it will incur a fee of £39 + VAT per area. But they still need to have the same base recipe. Just contact us for more details.
If you don't currently have as many as 6 variations, you can just assess a few variations now, and few later. But bear in mind that they can only be sent to us in 2 lots and within 3 months of purchasing the assessment. For example, you can give us 3 variations to assess now and 3 later, or 1 variation now and 5 later, as long as it is in just two batches and within 3 months of each other.
The total fee for this package is £137.50 (ex. VAT) which works out at just £22.92 per report.

First of all, we don't need to physically see your product to produce your safety assessment.
Once you have made the purchase, we will need detailed information about your formulations/recipes. (We will double check the recipes for you to see if they are allowable and get back to you).

*Product Description (i.e. Texture, Smell & Colour, e.g. ‘semi solid balm – neutral colour – lavender fragrance’ etc.)
*The percentage breakdown of each ingredient OR each ingredient in grams /ml. (Amount of drops is acceptable).
*Container / Packaging (i.e. amber glass jar with aluminium screw cap)
*For any fragrance oils we need the name of the supplier too
