Organic Camellia Tea Oil

Camellia Oil is obtained from the seeds of the plant (Camellia Oleifera).

The plant grows mostly in Asia. This oil has been used to add nourishment to normal skin and aging skin to help restructure and moisturise.

Camellia oil can be used in formulations to provide the mono-unsaturated acids, (oleic up to 80 % and linoleic acid 9 %) vitamins A, B, and E, which provide antioxidant, disinfectant and germicidal properties.

With these properties the carrier oil can be used advantageously in:

Nourishing shampoos and lotions for dry, damaged and delicate hair. 

Body moisturising after-sun milks 
Emollient gels for around the eyes 
Softening hand creams 
Nail strengtheners 
Restructuring creams for damaged skin 
Moisturising creams for dry skin 
Applying around the eyes to help soften wrinkles

Camellia oil is excellent when used as a moisturiser because it penetrates very quickly and deeply into the skin, giving your skin optimum hydration without having a greasy feel. Your skin will feel remarkably refreshed, smooth and firm. It is very good to use for replenishing the skin as it increases the resilience of the skin and gives your skin a supple and radiant glow that you can see and feel.

Camellia oil gives a lovely shine and gloss to dull and lifeless skin as it enhances the radiance of the skin.

Effective when used to protect the skin as it contains Vitamins A, D, E, K and polyphenols, natural antioxidants that safeguard your skin from the damaging effects of UV exposure and free radicals.
