This grade of cocoa butter has been refined to remove much of its odour, which can overbear some recipes, and is pale cream in colour.
It goes under the simple terminology of 'deodorised' and is supplied specifically for the cosmetics industry.
Cocoa butter is one of the best moisturisers for the skin as it penetrates through the outer layer of the skin to deeply moisturise and repair the skin effectively leaving it soft, supple and glowing.
It can be melted into body creams to thicken them and to help combat dryness and improve skin flexibility.
