Lip Balm Cosmetic Safety Assessment Report (Compliant with new EC Regulations)
We can now offer packages of cosmetic safety reports which comply with the new 2013 EC regulations.
These reports have been created specifically for small-scale producers of lip balm.
With this report, you can certify one single base recipe with up to 6 different variations on the base recipe (eg. different flavours, colours etc.) Each variation can have up to 5 different ingredients.
PLEASE NOTE: This price certifies balms for lip use only. If you would like to assess some lip AND face, hand, foot or body products, it will incur a fee of £39 + VAT per body area. But they still need to have the same base recipe. Just contact us for more details.
If you don't currently have as many as 6 variations, you can just assess a few variations now, and few later. But bear in mind that they can only be sent to us in 2 lots and within 3 months of purchasing the assessment. For example, you can give us 3 variations to assess now and 3 later, or 1 variation now and 5 later, as long as it is in just two batches and within 3 months of each other.
The total fee for this package is £137.50 (ex. VAT) which works out at just £22.92 per report.

First of all, we don't need to physically see your product to produce your safety assessment.
Once you have made the purchase, we will need detailed information about your formulations as follows:
*Product Name
*Product Description (i.e. Texture, Smell & Colour, e.g. ‘semi solid balm – neutral colour – lavender fragrance’ etc.)
*The percentage breakdown of each ingredient OR each ingredient in grams /ml. (Amount of drops is acceptable).
*Container / Packaging (i.e. amber glass jar with aluminium screw cap)
*For any fragrance oils we need the name of the supplier too
